IN!! ...and hoping my fretless will be here in the coming weeks!
Dropping in before heading off to work on some big planes............
Opps, wrong pic, doesn't have my white NS2A, oh well.
I love that finish.
That wait must be excruciating.
OK, so to carry on from the previous thread...
I did some research & my TonePump won't have the internal gain control. It's a 2006. From what I've found on the TonePump circuit, this gain control was not added until 2008.
This also rules out the option of running it as an 18v circuit.
I found this information here: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f38/spector-tonepump-specs-questions-wirings-670840/
I guess I'm left with getting a US 18v or an aftermarket, like an Aguilar OBP-2 or EMG BQC.
i haven't tried the Aggy pres in a Spector, but the EMG's sound good IME.
Cableguy, is that a bottle opener on the front of your cab?? If so, that is AWESOME!!!!
I absolutely love the Aggie OBP-2 and 3!!! You can dial in some nice round warm sounds or get real growly!!
Besides, if Stuart thinks that the OBP-2 is good enough for the Forte, Coda and the OBP-3 for the US BO, they have to be doing something right!
present and done jamming for a bit
New Spector endorsing artist! can i get a number?
Good choice on the new MMMMMMMBOP!
Wow. Number 50. That's approximately 50,000 posts.
That NS-5 looks so tasty but I gotta have 35" on my 5's, I don;t have the dough for that kinda Spector anyways!
Yes it is!!!!!!! My own add-on option to the fEARful design........
we just talk too much, patrick.
I like it! I am thinking of getting a fEARful cab sometime next year! I have a DNA 112N which is a really nice cab, but I'm definitely interested in the fEARful 15/6 or 15/6/1! I've got a guy local who builds them and he said I could come by when my 5 string gets here and try out some of his demos! CANT WAIT!
