I like it for live situations were I can blend the OD and my clean to keep the lows. I have a couple OD/fuzz pedals that I like better for that purpose, so recording I prefer running a clean and dirty signal seperate and blend in my prefered dirt. It still sounds nice recorded or live. I'm not sure why it is so expensive but I don't regret buying it too much.
What I have now is a VT Bass Deluxe sitting in the loop of a Mosquite Blender that lets me blend the VTBD with my clean signal. Don't see how the BK3 would improve this but wanted input.
