Yeah a good organ works well if you try to put piano in there it just brings it into the cheese zone! lol
Everyone was talking about him being better than Lincoln saying he is a hot bassist.....he does have the chops!

His left hand couldn't keep up and he was getting frustrated, I hope he just lays out!
Looking at the options list for the USA Series Coda5's. The 35" scale neck is available only for the Deluxe. So this option not available for the Standard? Just curious.
That's the way I understand it. I've been getting more interested in the Coda and I wouldn't have minded going for the standard with the 35" to keep costs down, and I dig several of the finishes.

I was in upstate New York so I had to represent. It sounded good even though the soundman made my NS-JH5 with pretty new Rotosounds sound like Jamerson's P bass. I got some revenge though!

All your comments about how Spectors sound better running at 18v made me want to try..
So I prepared everything, but I just can't seem to put both batteries into my Rebop's cavity (loaded with emg bqc).
Anyone had the same problem ?
I'd really like to try this, but without modifying the control cavity..

The BQC with DCs at 18 volts rocks! 18 volts is actually recommended by EMG to get the most out of your humbuckers pickups

I managed to fit both batteries in, but it doesn't perfectly close now, do you think it'll cause any damage on the long term ?
I think I'll leave like that for awhile and see how it goes
Never had a Rebob but I went 18v on my Euro w/Aggie OBP-3 and CRFM w/EMG-BT and I really like it.

Got a chance to play with my new recording gear last night. Unfortunately our singer couldnt make it but it gave me a chance to figure out how everything works. I mic'd 1 guitar cabinet, 6 mics on the drums, snare, kicks, 2 toms and 2 over heads and ran my bass from the M80. I think I have a bad cable some place (hiss coming from something ?) and the bass level was a bit hot but its much better then how we were recording before.

Late to the show again... 
I've been super busy with getting everything ready and done before I start tracking drums on the 24th.
All the bed tracks are complete. Some of the guitars I've done are just going to be re-amped and bass is going to be re-recorded in the studio mixing the M-80 DI signal with a Mic'ed signal coming from the SVT 4-Pro and 410CL.
I have 3 guest appearances confirmed for the project which I am totally stocked about! A vocalist whom I've known for a long time will be doing 3 or 4 tracks and it's going to sound huge!!
I've also even finished the artwork for the whole thing
I can't wait to start!!! One of the tracks is apparently very hard to play and I've been practicing it every day to get my chops up... Strange, it wasn't that tough to record it piece by piece
Hopefully I will be able to make more frequent appearances in the forum once things are set in motion.

My church has lost their electric guitarist and still insist on playing Brewster. (one of the reasons I'm looking at a new church) Imagine Brewster with acoustic guitar, piano, drums and a female lead vocal. It was almost lounge.
Nothing wrong with that instrument set, just choose different songs for worship. As a sidenote, one of our old worship guitarist (and my good friend) now plays at bayside, even with Lincoln sometimes.

I met him at CMS in Redmond a few years ago. I missed the jam him and Lincoln had the night before, but I heard it was epic. I'm not a jazz or fusion type guy, but some of his solo stuff is incredible...

Just returned from vacation out in LA/San Diego and picked up a rare bird.
Kramer era (1986 I believe) NS2 with JJ's.
Was originally built for Tim Gaines, bassist for Stryper.
The actual bass is the one in this video:
Needs some work to return it to it's original glory
(EMG's, preamp, gold Schallers [chrome Carvins on it now]),
but it plays beautifully.
Originally had a gloss finish that has rubbed off in most places (and looks like it may have had an attempt at reapplication).
I will probably have a pro remove the rest and oil it, although I am personally fine with it the way it is for my use.
Hey Patrick: I couldn't find this in the Spector Model History.
Since it's obviously not an NS2J, what was the official model designation for one of these? Do you know how many were made? Thanks.
PS. I picked this up from some guy up in the mountains "very reasonably" priced for any USA Kramer.
(And "No", I didn't have to squeal like a pig either)
