Wow, still on Part 62
Just picked up a bass driver to give another shot. Out of the Tech21 DIs Ive tried I liked that one the best and I figured I can use it for recording.
I've had a BDDI for years. I just keep coming back to it. They're an awesome recording tool. I usually take the XLR out for the amp emulation and the clean out just to have. Two tracks and you're covered. I see you have a GK too. When I had my GK I used a setting fairly close to Tech 21's fat tube setting and it sounded great. Gave me two distinct sounds. FWIW I had my pedal modified by Mike Putnum. He added a mid control so it's like a RBI in a pedal. Don't forget that the key to the BDDI is the blend knob. IMO
Since I buy my strings from Amazon with their Prime free two day shipping I canceled. I'll just hold off until I hear a lot of raves or find an outlet that doesn't charge shipping.
