I wore parachute pants... and wasn't a redneck.
I should clarify, what I meant was the "pants" weren't redneck enough....I was full blown redneck...and still am to a degree. I consider myself a "contemporary redneck" because I listen to rock and roll.
And Patrick, don't deny those roots! I've talked with you over the phone and can detect southern draw in less than 2 syllables.
1986 (16 years old), a Yamaha BB300 through a Peavey TNT 150. What a rig! Levi's (uncuffed) and button down...now that's some stage attire! Loudoun County High School Talent Show covering Def Leppards "Stage Fright" and Judas Priest's "Living After Midnight". Those were the days!
Side note: That's my buddy Jeff with the Charvel. We're still in a band together now (Half Step Down) and have been playing music together since 1985.
