Well, I've got some good news! My OBP-2 came in today, I'll be picking it up tomorrow during the day. I also pulled my Euro 5LX in today and even with the no output issue I was having earlier in the week, I'm getting sound now. Finally getting to try my bass with my new pedals and so far I'm really happy with everything!

I'm now working on learning 'Ephipany' by Intervals. I figured I'd post this here because of the periphery talk a while back. They're an all instrumental band, very talented. I'd recommend checking them out if you're into the heavier stuff! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ipv_l7KoSI

I wasn't a teenager until 1987, but yes, best decade ever for sure. No parachute pants either, but I was known to cuff my jeans at one point. :hiding:

I had black parachute pants that I wore to many a show with a selection of bandanas tied around my legs. The price of being 15 in 1985. \m/ \m/

Me in 1990 with the NS2A I still own today.

But I grew my hair out and wore a lot of bling like big Chinese dragons... I was influenced by Jimmy Page.

And I hung with a tough crowd... my homies were down right ghetto-vicious hood rats. You know what I'm sayin'?

So I guess that's almost as bad as spandex and some parachute pants.

Reminds me of one of the original photoshops sites: Bert Is Evil. Great stuff.

I love all the protest photos from Iran and places in the middle east with these huge crowds and in the crowds someone is holding up a photo of Bert. LOL.

Yeah. I was inspired.

Actually this was my Christmas Card a few years ago. It said, "Enjoyin' the Holidays Hangin' Wit My Peeps."

I got mixed reactions from it. My mom thought it was hysterical. My ex in-laws were embarrassed. Oh well. :bassist:

These new strings are really cool. I like the feel and the tone. But what I really like is the lower string tension.

It's easier to engage the frets. And since I have a light touch and play with an ultra-low action, they're really great for my playing style.

And I'm absolutely not trying to "push product". I will always stand by my belief that each of us is on our own journey and therefore what works for one person may be totally wrong for the next. It's up to each of us to figure out what we like.

Sounds like my playing style you're describing Patrick...how do they sound for sliding? Do you still get the round wound "Zip"? I'm curious.

After seeing stings bass im gonna leave my white euro alone and hacked up. Im thinking it adds more character. Oh yeah heres me playing a severely modified NS2A way back wasnt a great pic but u get the idea

Thanks guy's and anyone need one made just contact me and I'll make one up. Jamie and I are designing a strap for the L.O.E bass. If anyone has any design ideas for that strap, throw em out there.

Design it just like the LOE wrist band...same colors, with L.O.E. on front top, Love Over Everything down center front, Spector double SS on back.

Awesome work on Donny's strap!
