I tried to put an MM114 in my Euro.
Unfortunately, they don't quite fit.
I had to hack quite a bit off side of the board and rewire a track to get it it fit in.

I know for a fact there are some manufacturers who make retrofit Spector bridges; [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] should retrofit, for instance.
That said, I strongly dislike how the intonation and saddle adjustment work, and being a very high mass bridge it gives a very compressed response, which I don't like.

You could try a newer rebop bridge. I believe they have the adjustment screws and their aluminum. Honestly not a big difference in tone from the aluminum to the brass/alloy though. Once you get used to the bridge, most love it. It's simple, and easy to adjust. The compressed tone comes more from being NT than the bridge. You might like the BO rebop /US/ or legends better.

Their tight. Gotta snip that point off the edge of the board, and sand down one edge just a little. Thick trace on that side though so it's ok if ya take it down a bit. Their the same pre really.

If you want it im out lol. Didnt see anyone mention it in here and not gonna stomp on a fellow spector brother. the euro im getting is a 2004 dont k ow if cavity is bigger sure my techie can get it in there.

Lookin to get that Queensryche Winger tone. To be honest Kip Winger was the guy that brought me to spector. At some point I wanna buy a black ns2a and do it up like the one he had with colored lines in it.

OK i am no electronics guy so I have a question .. my korean haz has the smaller pots what would adding the bigger pots do to tone as in the US version, or anything for that matter? just curious

Ha ha. No, no Z28. Funny you mentioned Jersey since that's where I grew up, but I'd been living in NM for over 10 years by then.

Seeing all of these 80's gig photos made me realize that a lot of guys in our family here have been playing bass for most of their lives and in bands. Unlike me, I'm pretty much a newbie in comparison.
