That quilt is amazing! I'd love to have a natural finish quilted Euro just like that. Is that a special order bass?

From what I've been able to determine, swampy was a one-off that the Czech shop did for NAMM right around the time that they switched over to the Euro4s. Bass Central picked it up and sold it as an NS4CRFM, S/N NB0074. I'm not sure to whether it is technically an NS4CRFM or a Euro4. It was built right during that transition.

I'm not sure if you can order the solid winged Euro anymore now that they've moved on to the sandwich with the LX. That might force a move into an NS2. Todd might be able to enlighten us.

That's just lovely! I wonder if I could just add a J bridge pickup, I like having two pickups. Similar to the NS-2 but Coda style with the exposed magnets... OH my curiosity is running wild... Does this have the P bass nut width and neck profile, or the narrow 1.5? Much prefer the P bass profile

This one is at the Guitar House, it is a Jazz with the 1.5" nut but it has active EMG P/J pickups with the Aguilar OBP2...I liked the familiar tone I heard and to tell the truth my fingers are long so I can't do a 1.5" nut but this neck seemed to have the proper thickness (front to back) for my hand. Very cool bass and there was a customer that took this to the sound booth while I was there so it might be gone!

My Coda P-Bass has the 1.62" nut.

Not really a 6 string expert, but thanks for the vote of confidence.
Not really up on the H series, but being of a narrower body (4 string width) because of being a bolt on, it might change your opinion of your LX.
I had a beautiful 6LX, but went back to a Legend 6 because it was just more comfortable. That being said, you will find the older Legends are, in general, better built with much better fretwork. Look for the ones with the gold hardware and the "Made in Korea....." blurb printed upside down on the back of the headstock. I've owned identical Bubinga Legend 6's and the older one that eventually re-replaced my 6LX just blew the previous, yet newer series, Legend 6 away.

YES! This, maybe a little darker Emerald green on black W/Ebony FB and a single Abalone cown or double S inlay on the 12th fret area, single P pickup, 5 string.

Ahh man, she's a beauty!! Really dig that Violet! That tone is definitely what I'm going for, love the Forte and the Aguilar set up so it should be common ground. Just with an Alder body and would like the Birdseye Maple fretboard. I wonder how much that would change the tone. I hear you on the 1.5 nut, I have smaller hands but prefer the wider profile for sure. The thickness would definitely help, once you get used to the thicker necks it's hard to go back to the skinny ones. How is the finish on the necks? If she's gone, is that a good thing??
