It's a gimp suit for a Spector, LOL!
Not really sure I like the look, but very well done.
The back closes with zipper. Installation takes 2 or 3 minutes
It's def different, it would look cool with a European veg tan with some tooling and a back whip or cross stitch.

I missed the first time that the white one was a cover too. Cool to be able to switch between the black and white.
Nice job, cool idea. I've made some leather pick guards but never thought about anything like that.

I like the basses I have and each of there individual colors and wood patterns, I also like solid colors like white, black, etc. and the zip up leather isn't doing it for me....sorry if this sounds negative as I'm trying very hard not to be and I completely understand that this might be something wonderful for someone who likes leather...so...please understand that this comment is only my personal opinion!
I like it. More than 10 feet away I doubt anyone could tell it was a cover.

That very bass was listed on ebay back in 2000 when I was a dirt poor student eating no name brand mac and cheese in a mouse infested dump with 5 roomates to make ends meet.
Couldn't even afford to think about putting a bid in on it (lol). I was living in the US on a CDN scholarship and the exchange rate at the time was $1CDN = $0.62 US
I think it ended up selling in the $1200-1500 range if my memory serves me correctly. I guess he needed some fast cash at the time.
I should have sold a kidney.
I still regret missing out on that opportunity.
Dammit.
Shame he had to sell it.

I don't know how many of the guys here would be interested but it's definetly a great idea. While the beauty of a Spector is its shape and tone, the woods they use are as beautiful as the sounds they make. On the flip side, I've seen some pretty careless audio tech guys (I run audio too when not playing) and some of these guys don't trully understand what a 5k bass or a 2k guitar means. We had a person one time pulling a bad XLR from across the stage, and instead doing the right way, he thought it was easier to just yank as hard as he could. Nice big gouge in an arch top Les Paul. And then just shrugged his shoulders. I can even imagine the clarity in the guitarist head that day. Between worship services and that happened and the guitarists didn't take him out back or nothing.
So there is definetly a market for it. What are the colors you as of right now? Just black and white? I've got a legend Bolt-On I've been waiting for a month and a half for my friend to clear space at his shop to paint it. Might just take you up on one.
