NBD is around the corner. Unfortunately, I just can't pull the trigger on that Helium right now. Too many boring bills this month like tuition, a drainage fix in our yard and a car repair. Blah!!!!!!

However, a new Euro 435 Ian Hill (35" scale) is heading my way. It has a little surprise, but I'll save that for the NBD pics.

I think you might have informed me of the surprise when you left the hang....lucky!

Killing me that I couldn't swing for the Helium Todd had at Guitar House for that Hang price. I was really tempted to get it too! However, I was overcome with "responsibility" and do not like it one bit!!!! Believe me, spending that $$ on yard drainage and a car repair stinks!!!! LOL!

So, this means one is going up for sale! I will be posting my matte black Euro 435lx (with gold hardware) for sale soon. It currently has a US18v preamp installed. I could sell it that way or swap the Tonepump from my natural back in. Really up to the buyer. It would be a bit more if I left the 18v in it obviously. Club discounts will apply of course. A hardshell case is also optional.

Shoot me a pm if you are interested. I'll

You can hear the bass on the two tracks at this [Invalid or Expired Link Removed].

So I got an email from PJ on Friday; I've been on the waiting list for a US 9v Haz for a bit and they have one in stock I can buy. Money is kinda tight atm, so I might have to pass, but I'd feel terrible just telling him "sorry can't right now".

If anyone else in the club is looking to buy a new Haz 9v for the $499.99 sticker price, please let me know. If I have to pass I really would prefer to let him know I have someone else lined up to buy it.

On second thought, I think I might just sell off my 03 BlueBurst Euro, pick up the HAZ and toss it into my Burl Euro LX.

Let me know if anyone's interested in picking up an Euro 4, 2003, BlueBurst with an 18v OPB-2; I can do $900 club price shipped in the lower 48. I'll post a legit ad later if there are any takers, paypal preferred, can include a slightly worn Spector branded case as well.

Still have the original non-trim TP and it looks like I'll have a trim TP soon as well, so I could toss in a different preamp at that price, or extras for a small upcharge if someone wanted to try out a few options.....

Quick photo is below; PM me for more.

Nice. Looks just like my first Euro4 (aka the Spector gateway drug). I got the same email from PJ. Now I'm in need for a Spector to park said US9V in. (First world problems, ya know!)

That was a great price and a fantastic helium, that bass will haunt you now I bet! lol

I wanted to say something to everyone who attended the Spector Hang, I want to personally thank everyone for their kind words to me (in the club, in emails, and on Facebook) about their enjoyment at the hang and to tell the truth I enjoyed it just as much as all of you did. Both PJ and Todd enjoyed the time they got to spend with all of you as well! Todd was so busy he didn't have as much time as PJ did getting to play all of the basses but he did get to see some he missed like Gary's bass...so...I told him that we needed to plan for him to have some time to play your basses and we also missed having a jam session because we got so involved ourselves, looking back I really liked how everyone bonded and found friendship with each other and this was amazing! Thank YOU all for attending.

So if we get to 2018 do we call it hangar 18 and play some megadeath??

You just hit every button on my body at one time......... I would be geeking out at the possibility of playing 10-12 songs personally for each and every one of you. Dave Ellefson is one of my all time favorite bassists. Not to mention he plays with a pick and I don't......... Which made me a better player, because I had to incorporate two and three fingers on my right hand because I don't have the up stroke of a pick like he does.

I know it's not Spector but we just saw them late last month. Non stop perfection in their playing. One of my all time favorite shows.
