Yes it is. Gives me a chance to see what mine would've looked like if I had gone with black hardware and no inlays. To be honest, I like the chrome better, but that's me.
Though I think a single Spector SS logo on the 12th fret is cool.

Well, with the HyDrive cabs they're metal, wood and paper all in one cab. But, being I'm a HUGE Dave Ellefson fan, I know he runs two full 8x10 Hydrive stacks, each driven by an LH1000 with one back up rig. The pictures are obviously the video screens! It's amazing the sound he gets from the LH1000s and the 8x10s. I heard the only effect he uses is a chorus for certain songs, every thing else is just him, a pick, the bass and the amp... Nothing else. Then you look at Doug Whimbish, and you need a degree in sound engineering just to plug into his pedal board. It truly shows how every artist is unique.
Hey guys & gals! I've come to the realization that I need to down size in weight in my bass guitar, due to my permanent left shoulder injury & right shoulder going bad now also. This summer playing 3-7 gigs a week really was the wake up call on getting a lighter bass. Even 1-2 pounds would make a difference plus the ergonomics of the NS design. I want to give my family here the first opportunity in acquiring Big Blue Coda 5XL Deluxe Jazz Bass.
I'm interested in either a trade for a Brooklyn, Kramer, Woodstock NS 2 or NS 4View attachment 461325 , gently used of course. Or a straight out buy which I'd need $2800 club price for it. There are zero scratches or dents, only a few very tiny bubbles that appeared in the protective high gloss finish on top of the body, but you have to see them in the right light to notice.
I bought new custom ordered from the Spector shop in Woodstock, NY and received in Dec 2012.
Been my main player in the 3 church bands that I play in. Always the best of care taken. Comes with Spector HSC and Allen wrenches. Has the new Spector strings that came on it with less than 10 minutes of playtime on them. You know me, I'm a flats string player. Today I stripped her down, cleaned and polished. Been raining all day so tomorrow I'll take fresh pictures in the sunlight. But here's a couple more recent pictures. Drop me a PM if interested in trade or buy! This bass sounded great at the Hang and the top has a very cool pattern....
I was trying to find a way to pick up the Bolan Rebel bass but couldn't pry it out of his hands, I think he might have felt the same way about the NS4 I got because he said something like 'Are you sure that your wanting that fretless bass' which made me scared....I ran towards Todd and said I'm taking the fretless! lolCall that Matthew kid, he's needing a new bass this week.
