Thanks! Thanks Michael and Jack too. Batteries definitely helped. I think the larger problem is my 1996 dying Fender amp. Every time I power it up there is a noticeable increase in static and noise. I didnt notice as much yesterday.
When I went straight to the headphone out on my Zoom pedal it was clear as a bell.
We are only as strong as our weakest piece of gear.
Good to hear a fresh 9V battery helped. Maybe checkout your 1996 Fender bass amp input jack. I had the same issue with my 90’s Ampeg SS bass amp and after thinking about it for a bit I realized that it was behaving just like a bad bass guitar input jack. Cheap fix! Good luck!

Hey Spector experts! I currently have a 2005 NS-JH6 for sale in the classifieds and was wondering if my asking price is unreasonable. It is in mint condition with a brand new OBP-3 and fresh PLEK job. I'm asking $2150 Shipped but don't seem to have much interest from anyone here. Seems like a lot of Spectors have been sitting up for sale for long periods of time, minus some Euros that seem to move quick. I understand a 6'er is a harder sell and it may just take waiting for the right buyer. Just wanted to get some opinions on my pricing?
Thanks guys
That’s a beautiful 6r:woot: Yeah 6 strings are a hard sell. That’s a good price but expect to go lower as the Bolt-on US Spectors don’t fetch the same money as the neckthru US Spectors. I’m thinking $1550 to $1850ish...

I’ve seen used NS-2 BO fetch $1500 all the while a NS-2 NT fetches $2500-$3200 used.

Thanks man... I hope I can get a little better than that. I bought it with the mindset of keeping it for a long while so I payed a little more than I should have for it just cause they are pretty hard to find in that condition. I'll just sit tight and see what offers get thrown my way. I'm trying to raise some money towards

a camper for the family so it doesn't need to sell for awhile yet. If need be I'll keep it and reluctantly see what I can get for my Forte 4 SS

I was going to say that I have seen a Forte6 that is new but has been in the classifieds for a long time (I'm personally not a big fan of the Aguilar pickups and the OBP2 so that would be an included reason why I wouldn't shop....I do like the OBP3)....I have never seen yours listed. But, good luck with the sale and your hopes for a camper.

Thank you...and yeah that Forte is really nice, I talked to that guy before buying mine but he wouldn't move on the price. I was actually very very close to having a Walnut Forte 6 with Super Singles,an OBP-3 and a maple top built for me but backed out at the last second. Didn't want to shell all that money out and end up not liking it, then take a huge loss on the resale. I've only had mine listed for 2 weeks so it hasn't been around long. Patience is not something I'm good at haha but I will need to be with this one. Thanks for the replies guys!

Does anyone know where I can find the wiring diagram for a Czech haz copy preamp?

I don't know if this will help you, but someone had posted a picture of one, and I copied it;

Below that, I found a picture of the Czech HAZ in my NS-2o.

Here's my NS-2A in it's current (sorry) state...

Bought it new in 1989
The circuitry shorted out last week. I suck at electronics, so no idea what's going on.
Been wanting to install some other pickups anyway, so might as well do it all at once.
Haven't decided yet, but leaning towards active EMGs and a BTS system...
Too bad the K-Haz board shorted out, active EMG’s and the K-Haz board sound amazing.
