Weird..... I can see any Spector basses on the site
Looks like GC is advertising Musician's Friend stock on their site. That Box Elder piece is also on the MF site as well.

Thanks Rod.You'll have to check your shopping from country as USA. They can't ship to Canada so it's not visible to you as long as you're geotag is showing Canada. Same story with their used gear site.
It's been this way for a while; it's the same company.Looks like GC is advertising Musician's Friend stock on their site. That Box Elder piece is also on the MF site as well.
. Well, I can dream!Yep..... ish bought it and added $1k CAD to it.
Probs lower.Exactly this. It was going for $2500 USD when it sold (not sure if that was the price that it ultimately sold for or if it went lower).
I guess that bass isn't an Ish exclusive if it's on GC's site. Thought they had something to do with its design.
Those retailers take such a risk with these high priced items. Those NS2s have been at GC for a while. And Sweetwater has had their USAs for nearly two years, I think.
Maybe if they're there long enough, they'll blow them out at half price. Well, I can dream!

Very nice! I'm not a preamp expert, but out of all the basses I have played, I really like the DTC. I'd like to think that it compliments all the Darkglass pedals, amps, and speakers I have
I did have to take some time playing the bass with the control cavity cover off to find a good level for the mid controller.
I ran about 4 different preamps through my Euro 5. The Darkglass was my favorite.
The bass at 75hz is fantastic. You can crank it, without it over powering the inputs. The 500nz mids is prefect for rolling back to clean up a dirty tone, or push it to dirty up a cleaner tone. And the 2.5k adds cut without being to bright. Though I would prefer even lower like 1.8k personally.
I personally have nothing below 60hz or above 5k in my signal.

At least 11 as of 2016.I seem to remember only a couple of those CTB ever being built
Are you running high-pass & low pass filters in your DAW? I've been experimenting with the same thing and have been able to dial in some really great tones. Nothing below 60-80 ish HZ but I've been leaving the highs for now. Filtering those lows out really helps to get rid of the boominess and add definition to the sound. Now it's just a matter of me playing better![]()
