These are awesome! Not much more than the Spector ones.

I have a 4" one and even my new to me, somewhere north of 10lb, 2003 Euro 5 was very comfortable at last weeks gig.
I am ordering a couple more and they are worth it.

Made in Chile.

Wow you've been holding out on us. These are nice and I need a strap for my fretless.

I highly recommend them.

Just some friendly advice to do a little research on Ergo straps before ordering at the moment. They make nice straps, but they've sadly been having a ton of issues delivering orders to customers recently.

I've had a custom Ergo strap (quoted 2 weeks completion time back in Jan-Feb) on order for 8+ months now. No exaggeration. They are extremely tough to communicate with and get responses from. When I do get a response I just keep getting excuses and runaround about how "it'll ship this week", etc… but nothing has been delivered yet despite repeated empty promises. I have seen several similar comments/stories from other users recently as well.

Again, they make nice straps… but this order has been a nightmare. I've seen enough similar/identical comments lately to know it's not just me either. I hope they get it together and get back on track, but I'd suggest proceeding with caution until they do.

I know a guy that makes custom straps but he's also REALLY REALLY slow at it. He gets occupied with his dayjob, family and playing bass and does most of his work in the cold months of Jan-feb.

I hear that each strap takes about 20 hrs and so aren't very cheap either but the quality is build for comfort (especially with heavy basses as he has a few)and to last a lifetime. ;)

I have a SBL strap and an Ergo strap and I don't really like either. The padding is that weird foam packing material we get with computer monitor shipments and the underside leather is a bit too paper'ish to me. The RightOn straps are made completely differently. The undersides are microfibre and the padding is a 1/8" piece of Latex rubber.

Their straps also have a pretty cool size adjustment system that doesn't need to be looped around and futzed with.

very comfy. The RightOn stuff is made in Spain and they answer questions quickly. They even sent me a nice free mask. I think it took 7 days to arrive from somewhere in Spain to Toronto.

Well that stinks. These are really nice straps. There are a couple of dealers around for them and I know 1 has some stock. I guess they are having some supply troubles like everyone else anymore.

Hope they get past it.

Previous experience has been after Nov 30 and hunting is done for me for the year I hunker down at the leatherwork desk and try to get stuff done before the weather gets nice again. The poor folks who ask me to make something MUST have mucho patients. Lol.

that said, I'll happily add you to the list(it's short)

So.... My boss went around this week to 4 of our customers and DR Strings have him the only set of 5 string bass strings they had on the shelf.. Not sure I want to use them. Not much of a colored string fan. But it was cool he thought of me and got them for me. He said that all the places shelves are bare and struggling to keep up with strong sales, so beware. Might start taking awhile to get bass strings soon too

Thats like.. Not an issue for me. The only string purchases I do are either strings for a new bass or aesthethic things like for my gold and black bling spector :p

@AB Nate
Also you remember that dwall I showed you? It's gone :p

The big question all around is how long will these shortages last?
I'm good for now, but thanks for the heads up.

My favorite string. I can have my bass setup with low action in E standard and drop to D standard and still have pretty good playability and tension on the lower tuning :)

The high tension of these strings is more than all other strings I've tried.
