Pulled the trigger on an all maple 99-2000 Euro 5!!!!!! I'm so stoked!!!! I haven't had a Spector 5 in the stable yet so this is going to be fun! Not 100% that I'll stick with the EMG BTC in it though. I think I want something more aggressive than that. Kinda torn between maybe trying an SNC, a Tonepump, or maybe an Aguilar OBP 2 or 3.

Nice. I see you have the GK cabs, are those two 2x12s?

I'm going to be posting my obp3 later today. Along with a few other things.

Good info.
I bought a roll of Mogami wire and some good Switchcraft and Neutrik plugs for any new cable requirements. I still have a bunch of Monster Bass 500 that are perfectly fine. Plus, I enjoy soldering. I can just cut off a bad end and reterminate it.
I just picked up wbc cables from Amazon. They are Mogami and Nuetrek. Half the cost of the same Mogami branded cable.

Damn you Reverb!

Interestingly, the control placement is different from what I've seen.

Saw that today too. If I hadn't just picked up an Alembic Epic I'd be all over that.

Basses with a 18v haz have some flexibility with control layout. Only 2 of the 3 knobs (stacked bass and treble and blend) are attached to the pre.

Hey. No affiliation, but there's an amber 2000 Euro on Reverb for like 1k, +50 shipping. Wings have rather bland figuring, but they're solid maple. Looks to be in decent shape.

If no one here grabs it I'm tempted to pick it up just to flip it….
Great deal, the Spector logo inlay on the headstock looks a little funky (placement), but probably just the way the picture is. I don't need anymore basses though, and my success with selling/flipping basses lately has been..uninspiring :meh:

Yeah. Tbh I'm hoping someone around here has been looking for one, and can jump on a deal.

Based on looks this seems like a bit of a players dream, but not necessarily a flippers dream. Those wings are quite bland which IME isn't normal for the early euros.
