SPECTOR® Owners Club

I gather there aren’t a lot of RST’s out there yet but to anybody considering one I give two thumbs up. The weight and electronics are the two factors that make it a win for me as opposed to the couple of others (Euro and USA) I’ve had before. No neck dive and maybe a bit less “cold” or more organic might be a way to describe the tone which I personally love. Still bright and punchy but a little less ping I’d say. I do like the roasted maple too though I can see where it is maybe not for everybody. A 5 string at 7 lbs that looks great, sounds great, and balances well is a win in my book.

Anybody else have a RST?

I’m the new owner of a 2003 Spector Euro bass . Wondering if this has been in the hands of a fellow member . It has a nice worn in spot on the top of the body

I woke up this morning(family outta town stuck at home finishing a Reno)

of course woke up on the couch.

Look up and this is the first thing I see.

So, of course. She had to be plugged in and given a morning run down.

I think it’s “the one” Spector.

I wish my NS was a 6 as I just don’t see it getting any regular love….
Beauty!

Why do you have TWO string shaped thumb rests?

:D

Well...
I got a (white) Ian Hill 50th arriving tomorrow.
Anybody with experience with this particular model?
I always wanted a single (reversed) P NS.

These are going $2799 (+ shipping and tax) most everywhere.
I offered $1600 shipped and they (Music Go Round via Reverb) surprisingly said yes.

Adding an Extender, EMGx and replacing the trim Tone Pump with a BQC System.
Probably a hard case too.
