+ 1 on the pics. Cannibal corpse has always been a bit too brootalz for me, but I love alex's playing with blotted science. The alex Webster sig seems like a bass I could really get into (minus the blood paint, I'm glad that's optional).

Those are the heavy Black Beauties, 4-string set. I use the .45-.125 medium 5-ers.

If another color strikes your fancy, go for it since the coating on all is the same. Put some Red Devils on your NS-95!

Nothing better than an afternoon of good company and a room full of SPECTORS... I definitely want to make it by Sam's place one day to see the "Collection" for myself. :-)

Rock on my brothas!

PS... we could do a Bald SPECTOR players club I guess. I'd photoshop my head bald. If I shaved it I think my woman would beat me. :-( So I'd have to be a member in spirit only.

What made the afternoon even better is I totally blew off work for the whole afternoon :ninja:

Looking at the "John happy with his setup" picture, I was so amazed with how the bass felt after Sam got it all setup. It plays so much better now and it looks like I will be sticking with DR Hi-Beams for this bass since I love how they feel and play.

I was very unhappy with the previous set and it really helped that Sam had a few different sets of strings laying around that I could try and see which ones I liked the best which is something you never get to do. Once I decided which ones I liked, we jumped in the car for a quick drive to the local music store for a new set of strings.....at an amazing price I might add and Sam was able to get everything all setup and feeling great.

Id need a pretty heavy duty does of photoshoping to join... and I too would get a beating... but.. if it becomes a Spector sanctioned group.. i might have to conform :help:

Maybe I can be an honorary member, I was bald for 8 of the last 9 months from the chemo, hair is growing back now (Everywhere, I have to keep trimming my eyebrows or they just grow out of control!) and I love ya guys, but I'm keepin it! Cool afternoon though, looks like fun! :D

Oh, I don't know - not pay rent for a couple months. :D
Down payment done, Forte 4 will be ready in December - still being created by Stuart and his crew. :hyper: :cool:
