That's the exact same color of my former NS-2A Kramer SPECTOR!

I hope this isn't a Pulp Fiction reference.Tracebassplayer: Are you pondering what I'm pondering?
Evil Undead: Uh... yeah, Trace, but where will we get rubber pants our size?

However, the BBs are great. I have them on two basses where I can bypass the preamp and find the tone completely acceptable when passive. One is swamp ash, the other maple; both are 5'ers with maple/maple necks. Active, they are even more dynamic.
You guys have me so curious about the DR. BB's I might just have to order some!bobunit said:For those that feel EMG pickups sound a bit harsh or shill on the top end, I recommend slapping a set of these on. Smooths the tone nicely. Of course YMMV and no two instruments are the same, but I say give em' a shot.![]()
We're more than glad to have ya hanging out mate!Evil Undead said:Hey, are you guys happy for me to hang around until I buy my first Spector, or shall I go away and come back when I can join?
It took me almost 3 years to be getting my first Brand Spanking New USA SPECTOR...but it'll be worth the wait!Evil Undead said:Ohhhhh I keep looking at the bass central website and plotting. Bad Evil, bad Evil!!!
I know I should go used, but the lure of a brand spanking new Spector is too much!
Buy it...as long as mine comes first!peledog said:Lure. GAS. Want.
It's all good (bad). LOL
The more I look at the Forte 4, the more I like the 'no frills' look. I might just have to get one...somebody stop me.

SSD NS-2CR "White/Rosewood" neck-through 4 string Bass w/case - $1299.00
chrisloe said:Okay, I know this is a Spector Bass Thread, but I saw this today and thought it was kind of cool, and I know a lot of us were Alice in Chains fans, Mike Star was a huge Spector guy, and think of his "Spector Tone" on the early stuff....
Mike Starr's Alice In Chains Ampeg SVT-II Amp head #1 - $2499.00
It has markings for some of his settings on the amp. Plug in your NS-2, set the amp to his settings and play Would?![]()
jarrod cunningham said:Those are cool , but without the crown inlays the ssd euro's are just glorified ns2a's ... In my opinion nowhere near worth 1299. just my opinion .
Wow!!!!!!! Awesome!!!!!!!
One of my fav bass players!!!!!
His tone was perfect!!!!!

Patience Evil!
Do all new spectors have crown inlays? Besides the forte
I could join that club.
