Well I got a chance to test out the new pups and tone pump at full volume and all I can say is WOW..... I'm very happy with the upgrade!!! Everything fit very nicely and no problems. Now I'm wanting another spector with the tone pump jr and p/j setup.... so I can keep it fresh

OH! I just had a thought.... may sound crazy....

If someone has a white NS-2A....
I'll trade my 2010 Legend 4 Classic (above) for their White NS-2A and they can keep their preamp and pups.
I have a mint set of SPECTOR® branded pups and HAZ copy preamp looking for a home in my stables.

Mine has the Tonepump JR and comes with a TKL HSC as pictured has .. and the IBANEZ® logo is free.

Let's see if I made it on time for Page 1...

1987 NS2-A, from before the serial numbers on the control covers...

24 years old and it does not look more than ONE year old!: one small ding on the headstock, one small ding near the bridge.

Both are barely visible.

Paint swirl/buckle lines on back are even lighter than to be expected for its age!

This one has two locking screws, one on each side of the bridge.

Active EMG Upgrade.

NS-2A production started in 1987. I remember the first shipments of those
having no serial number....the serial numbers on the back cover starting
with "NS" then four digits started...late 1987.

my first Spector bass was an NS-2A with no serial number...and I had
the pickups upgraded to active EMG's...that was the thing to do at that time.

Took out my newly upgraded NS-2000/4 today. Played both services today with it. Wow is all I can say!!!! It sounded incredible!
