Funny thing is, they seem to always think the basses have Aguilar pre's in them since that is what they said my Rebop I just bought had in it. I opened up the control cavity and it was a tonepump so go figure :)

What graves said,

Just loosen the locking screws, check intonation , loosen the string your adjusting, keep the others tight. Move the block forward or back by hand, tighten the string, check intonation, repeat as necessary. Tighten down the lock screws when done. Piece of cake.

The bass IS a refin. It was black cherry originally and was refinished by a body shop. It does not have a tone pump. They believe that it has an Aguilar pre in it and they aren't sure what Bart pickups are in it. It comes with a case but it is not a SPECTOR case.

So for $1000 bucks, this is not an ideal deal at all.

I think i would kill for a white (or black) long sleeve, no pocket. black spector logo on the chest , Spector script down the sleeve, and big spector logo with spector bass.com under it on the back.

yeah .......that would do the trick........

With a "Brooklyn, NY " rocker at the bottom of the back... like the Metallica Jersey I have... :D

I just loosen the 2 set screws on the sides and just nudge the bridge saddle till intonation is met. Then tighten set screws. Walla! No?!?! :eyebrow:

hmmmmm....I think someone was looking at the Best Buy site because they were looking to buy a Alex Webster Sig... :ninja: :bassist:
It is the common 24 hour GAS attack, get a Spector and needs another very quickly. I have feeling Evil will be GAS'ing by tomorrow also.

I admit, I did check the balance on my Best Buy credit card :) Let's just say I didn't have enough room and leave it at that, LOL.
