Also, Im pretty sure that Dan Briggs plays an NS 2000/5 (not unlike the one Im getting) and not a Legend 5? Im fairly certain he says that in their DVD.
One of you other BTBAM fans could back me up on that?

No you are absolutely right, but we didn't want to put him in the Legacy Models Section since he's been such a big supporter as an artist.

The model he's playing in the pic at that angle looks just like an older Legend... so I sort of made the call to "Fudge" a little bit... Basically I want all of our artists who really support us to get as much promotion as possible. But I don't want to confuse those who would look at a model, say a dot neck legend in the Euro-5 gallery... I've also made exceptions for a few guys who play older Euro models. You'll see. I note the model difference.

And a ton of our NS-2 players are playing vintage models. But the difference is the NS-2 is still a current model. So...
That works.

Again we're trying to be fair, but some artists sign the endorsement agreement, get a bass and we never hear from them again. Or they play for a year or two and give up on their music dreams and stop playing, or they sign one of those "exclusive" deals with another company and stop playing our basses in public, although many that do, still use their SPECTORS in the studio.

So thanks for pointing that out. I knew he was a NS-2000/5 player. I cheated a little to keep him in one of the top galleries. Being that he's a big influence of yours... you should appreciate it. I'm looking out for him.

Are those switchable pups original parts on that NS-2C?

The Past Models Kramer section of the website says they were Spector branded Passive Pickups. Also has a flat body in an NS shape.

My whole life's savings since I was 4 years old has been spent on bass and I am rather well endowed. Then again, back then he could have probably got a job at 13 or 14.

Yeah, he's mistaken. That bass was made in Korea. None of those (the NS-94/95 NS-2000/4-5) were made here. The milling machines and templates were all in Korea. These are specific to a body/contour shape/style.

It's a neck-through, Ned Steinberger designed Spector body, but it was built in Korea. In this, he has his facts a little off.

You could do a whole themed deal, replacing Jack with your Spectors all through that movie. It'd be really funny.

No that's totally cool, I love that Im right up under him on that list. It's an awesome feeling for sure! I just wasnt sure if he actually owned a Legend, as far as I was aware he had the NS 20005 and now recently a string through USA exotic redwood 5er.

I don't agree with Jarr-Head... I kind of like the punk angle.

The only comment I have is regarding the confusion I have over your playing style. The inside shots you were doing finger style, then the next cut you guys were outside and you're using a pick.

I've shot (as director of photography) many music videos. It's a thing called continuity. So just try to be consistant. There might be someone out there in video land who likes your riffs and wants to learn how to play them and this video would confuse the fudge out of them.

Great stuff though. I like it.
