Spector Club Part 6

My NS-2A arrived today.

I polished it up, checked the electronics, slapped on some Slinkys (put on the fret stickers first), tuned it up - and started playing.

Will upload some spector-porn later.

Here's a couple crappy pics with a flash (you can see the finger marks)

Going to replace the bridge with a gold Legend bridge and the tuners with gold Schallers.

Nice.

Just make sure you get the right Schallers... the newer Schaller tuners have a locking screw (which goes into the headstock to keep the peg from slipping by spinning it the headstock) that is on a little lip that goes to the bottom of the tuner (if you have the bass in a stand).

The tuners on your NS-2A are older style Schallers and the locking screw for these is off to the side of the tuner at a 90 degree angle from the ground (if you have the bass in a stand).

Just double check before you order them that you're getting the right ones.

Great looking bass. I love my black NS-2A.
