Spector Legend 6 Bolt On - How much should I ask for it?

where are you at DooDaddy? i'n in the Bay Area in CA near Berkeley. it IS a nice bass...i just hate to see it jusr hang around in my (lol...VERY small) studio, unused.

basses are SO meant to be played, not looked at.

that's brings up a question. i've never sold a bass... have always found a friend that needs one and given/sold them way too cheap a bass that i outgrew. what's the safest way to ship? if you're not shipping it in a hard case what DO you put it in to protect it? any shipper better than the others?

UPS has a "guitar box" and will fit nearly any bass. It fits my GT7 in the case. It's $30 plus $6 for them to pack plus actual shipping. Get insurance and you won't have to worry with anything.

Or you can call your local Guitar Center or local music store and ask if they have any bass case boxes. They've always had one when I've called and they're free.

No great loss there. That's about all they're good for.

lol.... i guess super mint might be a stretch for the discriminating tastes of some TB'ers. i just meant it has no damage on it, has been professionally setup and has never been gigged. i'm going to remove the stickers and use Goo Gone to get rid of any residue before i list it.... but FunkMetalBass asked for some pics to be posted.

A poly finish, right?

Pull as much of the sitcker off as you can with your fingers, then use a small cloth with a bit of lemon oil on it. The oil will dissolve the adhesive residue so you can wipe it off more easily without harming that particular finish.

SO...... here's pics of the body without any adornment. Auriaprottu - THANKS! there was very little sticky residue but the lemon oil worked like a charm!

i do have an ad for this in the Basses For Sale section and will prolly CL it at the end of the week if it's still with me.
