Spector Stereo output -which type of stereo cable??

So I got this new Spector Neck Thru a week or so ago. Great bass. Love it. I want to make the most of it. It has a stereo output jack and I want to know the type of cable to utilize it and split the signal to two amps.
The guy from Sweetwater says a stereo cable from Relish (Relish Guitars) is what I need. However that cable is for (One plug [red one]) is for a magnetic pup and the [black plug] is for a piezo pup.
Both pickups on the bass are magnetic. Traditional passive P & J. With a active Tone Pump pre.
So do I drop $60 on this Relish cable or do I do something like a TRS cable to an A/B pedal?

I'm not familiar with your Spector, but a Rickenbacker 4001/4003 has Ric-O-Sound, which can use a standard TRS-to-dual TS Insert Cable. This set up allows the bridge pickup to go to one amp and the neck pickup to go to another amp.

Are you sure it's actually wired for stereo output? It's very common to use a stereo jack in active basses, wired so that the jack acts as a switch to engage the battery into the active circuit when a plug is inserted - basically an on/off switch that turns the bass preamp off when you unplug the bass so the battery doesn't run down.

No, no, no, no, no.

No. :D

I only know this because of a thread on here, but if you see that a Spector has a “stereo” output jack, it’s only because the extra pin inside the jack is used to signal the preamp to turn on or off.

While it technically may be a stereo jack, it isn’t going to give you a stereo signal.
