Spector strings

Have anyone tried the new Spector strings?
How do you like them?

I looked on the website and it said that they are made nearby the Spector headquarters by another New York company Labella. Labella has been making strings for many many years and are one of the best in the business. If you buy them it is a safe bet they will be good. I like steel strings not nickel but I know Labella makes good strings so you're in good shape there.

I have the Legacy 800. If I had one “feature” I’d love to add would be this.

Or as others have said - incorporate cab sim to the Plex pedal.

As the my primary church band evolves toward silent stage I’m eyeballing some kind of preamp pedal.

Good midrange content. Not overly bright but a good snap. Flexible not high tension.
Would I buy them again? At $25 a set...hmmmm I'm not sure.

I just took a peek and the E string isn't tapered. Is it possible they are tapered on the 5 string set?
I find these to have a warm, more traditional sound if that helps?

Hi there, @BrentSimons are those still similar enough with RX? Spector Strings are rare thing in Europe so I was wondering if should go with LaBella, D'Addario or DR Dragon Skin with my new Euro CST

I feel like RX would be the closest to the Spector strings. If indeed LaBella makes them then it's your best bet. If your Spector is 35" scale then they should still work. If 34" scale they definitely will work.

Yes very similar to the RX if I remember correctly? They are made by Labella to Spector specs. I think they had slightly more tension as well.
