Split-coil positions

Hello bass-world,

I have a second hand Lollar P-bass pickup (split-coil).

I want to install it tonight, but I am not sure which part to put in het front/bass position and which one in the back/treble position.

One coil is handwritten with the year of production ‘2022’ and the other one with ‘NM’ and ‘HW’.

Can some tell which coil goes where?

It shouldn’t matter. I’d put the half with the wires that go to the controls closer to the control cavity, so treble side.

Thanks! It worked out. Installed it the most easy/logical way and it’s fine!
