Hey guys, I was recently reading up on 250v500 pots. They say that the 250's roll off more treble and the 500's are typically used for humbuckers. I recently installed a quarter pound split P bass pickup with the standard 250 pots and an orange drop cap, but have noticed not a whole lot of high end even when the tone knob is cranked. Now I was reading that the quarter pounder is considered a humbucker, so in that case would it be smart to replace the pots with 500's? If I am to do this do I replace both volume and tone control pots or just the tone control? Thanks alot!
