I want to experiment a little. What I would like to do is run the PE's in parallel. 3 on each side. One side being clean and the other with tone effects(fuzz,od,octave etc.). Now keep in mind, before I ask my question, my signal would be boosted. On the clean side I use a Sansamp, and on the dirty it would have a Big Muff or Tubescreamer and before the split I would have a Boss TU-2. I dont know why but from what I have read that matters because the TU-2 is buffered. Also I have no need for switching...this setup will be constant.
So...Is there any reason I cant take a little metal hobby box from Radio Shack, drill some holes and mount some 1/4" jacks I have, solder them up and split my signal?
Im just worried about damaging something...I know I could get an ABY box but I have this stuff already.
