Squier Active Jazz 5er

Anyone have experience with these? Looking for a backup/practice 5 and these are within my price range.

Good sound, good build.... I went through 3 at GC looking for the one that needed the least amount of set up work.... I'm glad I bought it..

Neck is wide (string to string) but thin (back of neck to fingerboard)

I’m pretty sure there are at least two recent comprehensive threads on this…

Do a search; in fact, do a couple, one “Squier” and one “Squire”.

But anyways, I also started playing a fiver (Fender Standard Jazz V), and since I seem to be stuck on the fiver now, I’m looking at the same Squier for a second one.

I might even go for the cheaper passive one since it might end up staying at work for a practice bass, and if it’s good enough for a backup, that’d be cool, too.
