Squier - Allparts P-Bass

Dominger pickup
Obsidian wire harness
just happened to have an old Allparts Jazz neck ,
slapped on a set of T.I. flats , and good to go !!


i think it turned out pretty nice , feels and sounds great !!
i've used this bass on several gigs already ...

Is it the camera angle or just me.
The E string looks vary close to the neck's edge.

yeah , it's not perfect , but it plays just fine ...

Loosen that neck a little and see if you can center those strings on the fret board a bit better. Otherwise, nice bass!

worked on the bass a bit today ...
looks better , but i don't want to replace the nut ,
so i'll just live with it .

well , i decided to change out the Dominger { which is a very nice pickup }
for a Fender Custom Shop '62 pickup ,
with a new Emerson P-Bass harness .
... added a nice tort pickguard while i was at it .
looks , feels and sounds awesome !!

EDIT :
also loosened and adjusted the neck for better string alignment ...

... update :
i decided to make another change .
sold the Allparts neck and bought a MIM Jazz neck .
it just feels so right on this bass ...
slapped on some new TI flats , plays , feels and sounds awesome !!

Nice! Normally I’m not a white pickguard guy but I think I kinda like the white/parchment/mint look? Either way I dig it. Nice job!
