I can't decide right now between the Squier Classic Vibe Precision bass, Squier Classic Vibe Jazz bass (I love the colours on this one!) and the Squier Vintage Modified PJ bass, what would be best for me? I would love to play many different genres from pop punk, punk rock, heavy metal, alternative metal, nu metal, metalcore etc. Thank you.

The truth is you can't really go wrong with any of these. You are likely to get a well built versatile instrument at a good price.
In my book - and at this entry point - I'd say a P/J will always give you more variety and flexibility. If you are going to play those genres you may well end up using some kind of fuzz or distortion anyway so the 'purer' tones of a P or J are likely to get a bit lost anyway.

I'm a fan of P/J's put I prefer the CV's over the VM's. I own
a CV P (60's), a VM Jazz and a VM Jag (P/J config.). The Jag.
is the most versatile but the CV P sounds and plays the best
out of the 3.

Again, any one of those would probably do you good.

Avoid any Squier with a Tort guard. They are a TERRIBLE photo-veneer!

Why avoid it just because you don't care for the appearance of the most easily replaceable part?
I personally love the combination of white with a tort guard, but that's just your opinion
Well I think his opinion is that the fake tort they use looks terrible, not that tort on white is bad.
Right now, Looking around I'm liking the VM Jaguar and the CV Jazz, I really dig the tort guards actually!
