Squier bass vi strings question

Hey Guys, just got a squier bass vi. The Low E is pretty bad and floppy. I have seen that labella make deep talking round wound sets for this.
But I was wondering if them or anyone else make single strings that have more tension/heavier gauge that will work on the bass vi?

All I really care to replace are the Low E&A strings

What are the gauges of your D and G strings?

You know I'm not sure, they are the stock squier bass VI strings

It is helpful to know the middle two, if not all of the highest four gauges. It is best to balance the bottom two specifically with the middle two to mitigate pitch dive. Bass VIs have an interim tension between bass and guitar - if there is too severe a mis-match in tension chords will fall out of tune with themselves on ring out/sustain. This assumes you chord at all, and that you let them sustain.

The Fender sets suggest these gauges; .024, .034, .044, .056, .072, .084 - the Squier sets suggest a .025 to .095 BUT many who have gotten these report that the .084 is what they got on bottom.

If I may suggest that the two sets are likely a lot closer to each other than we want to believe, and that a reasonable pair on bottom would be 073/098, 075/100 or 076/102 if you want to make use of the top 4 strings it came with.
