Has anyone changed the pickup out on your Squier Bronco? I hear they come with a single coil strat type pickup. I presume if you wanted to install a hot rail type guitar pickup it should work just fine. Anyone have any suggestions?

The route under the pickguard is big enough for a humbucker. I did this with mine…View attachment 4676340
I put a noiseless tele in one (won’t fit standard pickguard) and a lace red in my other. The lace will fit standard pickguards. The lace is pretty boomy, have to eq to suit.

Looks like a TV Jones pickup to me.Now that looks really nice and I bet it sounds awesome. What company made that mini humbucker? You should post a video sound sample on youtube. I am sure a lot of people would like to hear this one.

^ yes.Blue or red Lace Sensor would be my choice….
even a Wilkinson double rail would do.
Yes and yes.Hello jallenbass. Is that just a single unit typical of being used in stratocaster guitars? Did you just mount one in the slot of your bronco?
