Is the nut width on these wider than on the regular CV 60's P-Bass?
Here's my Lefty CV 60s P. I added hipshot US tuners, Babicz and Geezer pups. Fairly light and plays and sounds amazing!
Did a neck swap (and many other mods to the P) because I love maple fingerboards.
The CV 60 neck is great, I just wish it had a maple board
The Jazz won't be sticking around long as I'm not a fan of them.
Yessir! Last year the MICs were made. Found it hanging on a GC wall. Played it for 5-10 minutes and walked out with it. Dropped in an EMG GZR. Dressed with Chromes. I doubt I'll find a bass that plays/sounds better.

Any experiences with the Fender Custom Shop Custom 60's jazz Bass pickups on a CIC CV 60's jazz bass?
I like some bite, some growl and a fat sound!
I play mostly funk, indie pop, reggae and fusion. My CV jazz is currently strung with some DR Hi-Beams. I might switch to TI flats in the future.
I would also be curious to hear about other experiences with any other Fender jazz bass pickups.
On a sidenote, I returned a set of Lindy Fralin pickups because I found the stock pickups on my fiesta red CV 60's P-bass (strung with TI flats) were better...

Both pair of pickups sound the same. Don't buy the CS 60 if you have original pickups in your CIC CV 60 Jazz. I swear you'll regret your money.
If you want a fat sound on a Jazz, the TI flats are not what you want, they sound thin.
Both CIC CV 60 Precision and 60 Jazz pickups are great as is.
I have a set of Pure Vintage '64 pickups in my 2009 CIC CV 60s Jazz (w/stack knobs).
I liked my Flea so much, I grabbed a pair when they popped up here last year.
No regrets at all.
Unfortunately, they've become rather difficult to find.

To be fair, though, that could be due to the sum of the parts I put together. Here's what I've assembled;
- Alder Fender Jazz body with '70s-style pickup placement
- All-maple Squier Jazz neck
- Fender CS60's pickups
- .100-gauge D'Addario XT strings (coated, nickel-plated steel)
- High-mass bridge with brass saddles
It's quite possible that a Squier CV60's Jazz with a basswood body/60's-era pickup placement, maple & rosewood neck and flatwound strings could produce a notably different sound. How different, if at all, would have to be tested.
On a related note, depending on how much "growl" you want, you might want to try a set of Ernie Ball Cobalt Flats. They're easily the brightest flatwound strings I've ever used. On the flip-side of that spectrum, I should mention that I purchased the coated D'addario XT's specifically to tone down some of the high-frequency "clang! clang! clang!" and they definitely gave me what I wanted…a fat sound that was neither too bright, nor too dull.

The stock pup on CIC CV60J sound pretty a like PV64J pup, but she lacking the warmth which PV64J has. You mention that your CV60J loaded with DR HI beam, suggest the warm sounding roundwound bass string like DR Sunbeam able make she sound close to PV64J.
Regard the CS60J pup, she sound little scoop and sparkling compare to PV64J, just different.
Glad the stock pup on CV60P serve you will along with Ti flat, i love Ti flat on Pbass too, but, not on Jazz bass. I prefer growl and juicy modern flat on Jazz bass ~ EB Cobalt flat 2814 !!!!
