I recently bought a Fender American Standard Jazz (which is amazing).
And I'm looking at the sonic blue CV P 60's bass. I've played one before and it was really good. I really like the colour and look and sound.
Just need to convince myself I can spend more money

Buy both. I believe that it's your patriotic duty as a Canadian to own both Red and White basses!

got that right! i love both my CV Ps (a red 60s and the blue 50s). they get treated the same as my MIA fenders (G&G cases, etc)...

Yeah, if you're not into Olympic White & rosewood you're pretty much out of luck. That's the one weakness with the CV lineup -- no funky color choices for the Jazzes.
I love Olympic White with rosewood - it's a great look. Unfortunately, I already have a MIM Jazz with maple, so I think I'm more in the market for a P-Bass right now.
This one is actually a CV neck on a VM body w/ Wentz signature pg & electronics, but to me it is the neck that makes the CV. So, here tis.

I wantED to buy the "pino-p" but I played the sonic blue yesterday , it was an awesome bass , I love the rich , full tones I got , also loved the color....these basses are great stock , Would you mind posting a sound clip ?

Haha, thanks! To be quite honest - not much difference at all. Maybe in the "quality" of the tone rolloff. I mean they're not identically the same but they're both nice pickups. A new set of strings would (and did) make a far bigger difference than changing the pickup. But I wanted to treat my CV with posh electronics! 
But the 62RI scratchplate is definitely worth it to replace the photo of a sicked up kebab... so are the 62 knobs, but you also need to install CTS pots for them to fit the shafts.
