I vote MIM because they sound better with Fender on the headstock instead of squier. this is fact

See I was agreed with by the guy who didn't make the two post debacle, so I feel that I am more right than before. No one can brag about a squier, but with a MIM its a simple matter to remove the made in mexico label and impress the girls.

Yeah, what he says becomes word.
....Whatever. I hate anti-Squier Fender purists...I just don't get why people bash Squier. I mean, have you ever actually PLAYED a higher end Squier??? They play better than most other 300 dollar basses out there. I mean Squier does produce some piece of crap instruments, but that doesn't mean you can't automatically say that they suck!!! I mean, what if Fender made this super junky garbage jazz bass that sounded worse than a Squier Affinity P Bass? Would you quit on Fender? Ahh, like I said before, whatever. People have their own opinions, and I have mine.
Most girls I talk to don't know what Fender is....

Easy man, easy. I just sold my 5th squier, a 25th (or 20th or whatever) anniversary jazz that held its own with a few MIMs I have played and was better than a couple. I've had my first squier, an affinity P (also my first bass) for going on 12 years now. Not a long time to all you real salty guys, but a long time to me. Sounds fine to me for what it is, and if you listen to it without looking at it not as many people would no the difference as claim they would. I happen to have a MIM fretless right now that has been lightly modded and plays and sounds better than any Fender I have owned and most that I have played (I can't say I have owned any super duper Fenders so don't go blasting me). Thats why I am voting for the MIM.
