Hm, the neck is 3,4mm smaller. For me it would be to tight. That's why I don't go for one of Invalid Link Removed to modify...

Hey guys! would this be possible with the Invalid Link Removed? or would it be too narrow on the nut?
I understand I'll need to swap the pickups too.

I mused a bit more; with the 47,6 you would have about the same spacing as if you convert a 39mm 4 string J to 5.
More important, do you know the spacing at the bridge? The Deluxe Squier has 19mm (pretty wide) which could cope the 6 strings than with about 15mm. You should check that!

Out of the Squiers, the P-5 and VMJazz 5 have 47.6mm nut widths, and the Deluxe V Active has 51mm.
