SQUIER JAG SHORT SCALE; ANY REVIEWS?

I'm very interested in hearing more about this one... I wonder if they'll do a left-handed version... My GF wants to learn to play bass and a left-handed one of these would be perfect for her... If they don't plan on offering one, I'll probably just get her one of the SX short-scales with the Jaguar shape...

Heeeeey....

That's no Jag! (Now that I've actually looked at it.)

***, mate? Where are all the Jag-tastic features that I was raving about a moment ago?!
I would just hunt around for a short scale MIJ Fender from the 80s. Not terribly common, but very possibly a better value than this new Jag if it goes for anything like what the reissued Mustangs go for..

Edit:
On the other hand, that is a sweet body and the painted headstock is a lovely touch.

Squier has to many jag variations this should have been a mustang

The fact that this Squire is a SHORT SCALE instantly makes it more of a jag than the ones Fender makes/made. :smug:

Still though...

I REALLY wish it was EXACTLY like the Fender, in regards to controls and pickup types, but short scale.

I wish i could get my hands on an SX ss Jag to try out against the Squire. I like the idea of a J/J jag opposed to a P/J jag...
