Hi there! This is my first post on this forum. I`m planing to buy this bass. I played it and it works great. I don`t see a diffrence between it and late 1970`s Fender Jazz. But it has a lot lot lower price. Only because it is japan. Because i`m from Serbia, old fender basses are very rare so i must buy somewhere abroad. Can you tell me for which price i can get it, and what are procedures for buying a basses via internet. I`m noob in it. Thank`s in advance.

JV Squier are best bought from....... Yahoo JAPAN auction. OK last year, the average price of JVs range from $200-300 ONLY from Yahoo Japan auction. Double the price for online-shops and local shops. Now the price can go as high as $400-$1000 depending on the condition. That is because of e-Bay. These JV are being auctioned at e-bay much much higher than here in Japan, that is why people buy it here for cheaper price then sell it at eBay at higher price, and it was lucrative. Therefore, the price here in Japan also rocketed up. I got my mint JV Squier for $200 at Yahoo Japan auction two years ago, and recently , a beat -up Squier with rusty hardwares was sold for about $500 (converted from Yen). In two years time probably, my JV would be worth $1000 +

Can you give me links where i can see Squier Jazz JV on sale. That JV Squiers are the best basses ever produced. I played a lot 70`s fenders and 80`s MIA, but JV are greatest! I see that you only like Squier Precision JV. I`m interested in jazz. Best regards.
