Squier neck swap question

Hey guys. I have the opportunity to pick up a Squier Classic 60's Jazz for cheap. It just so happens I have a 2003 Fender Am Standard neck laying around. Complete with tuners, and the neck plate with screws. If I wanted to put this neck on this bass, would it be an easy swap? Has anyone done it? I have a 62 Reissue Jazz with a rosewood fretboard already, and I figured I'd take off the semi beat up Squier neck and throw on a great feeling Maple fretboard Am Standard neck. Thoughts? Tips? Pics? Guides? Do's and don't? I'll only do it if its an easy drop in type situation.

I have put a fender telecaster neck on a 51 p reissue and two warmoth necks on a fender 77 p bass and a squire fretless model so i do not see any problem. People swap p and j necks all the time too.

Most Fender neck pockets are the same. Should be an easy swap.

Yup I figured it would be an easy swap. I've seen the mods on here before. What I was looking for was more of the real world experience response and you gave it to me! Thanks!
