Squier P Bass Pickup Upgrade

If price is an issue,

My all time fav is Seymour Duncan SPB-1. IMO,
it nails the old school P sound (and much better
than the Ant II)

Original Fender 62 P bass pickup is a good PU
also,

Tabdog

That is difficult and subjective.

Both those pickups I mention have a kind
of old school sound that most of us are
familiar with. If I go farther, it may not be
well understood.

The Seymour Duncan SPB-3 Quarter Pound
P Bass is a little hotter and more trebbly. It's
real popular with some folks.

Spb-1 - vintage 60s p
Spb-2 - vintage hot 60s p
Spb-3 - hot modern P, lots and lots of low end
Spb-4 - hot 70's ish kind of pickup, lots of mids and less lows.

Fender 62- replica of the 60s p bass pickups

Dimarzio model p- very good pickup, hot, lots of mids, and INCREDIBLY cheap.
