Thats practically around the corner from me.
I have knack for finding things.
There's plenty of room left at $150 to upgrade tuners, pots, tone cap, pickup as needed/desired.
If it sounds and plays right I'd just leave it alone, don't fix what ain't broken.
I've owned a couple CV '60s Jazzes, along with a parted-out neck, and all of them were either "very good" or "great". When questions like "If you could only have one, singular bass for under $300?" come around, I always vote for a CV in good working order.
