I seem to love the sound of that bass (the ones from the early 80s), but I can't get one.
Is there any SQ P-Bass owners that have also tried a variety of pickups and can tell me which one sounds the closest (or which pickup it was, if it's still around) to the one mounted on those basses? I've heard some people describing it as ''harsh'' and I know it should be pretty loud and surely have an awesome GROWL.
