Squier Telecaster Bass MOD IDEAS

Hi! (First post ever!)
I recently bought one of these and decided to modify it. The bass sounds great in the middle (regular) position, but IMO the others are pretty useless. I decided to put a Black Ice overdrive (diode thing) in there, but that leaves an extra switch position. Any ideas???

You could run a hotter cap to the open lug, for a dark circuit effect.

That's a good idea, but I plan on putting flat wound strings on it and I wonder if that might be overkill? Thoughts?

If you really want to mod you could install active electronics or another pickup
