If you would bother to read my post, you'd realize I mentioned I've seen it on several forums but still have no official source. we'll see if it actually shows up; don't get me wrong, I really hope that it is true but I'm still calling fraud.

Hope I'm wrong.

Can't remember how long ago it was, but when JMJ was touring with Nine Inch Nails, someone posted photos of his rig and basses, and one of em looked like a Jaguar with a PJ configuration. And I remember thinking to myself at the time, "MAN, that would be pretty cool!"

So yeah. I'll keep my eye out.

I would TOTALLY feel better moding this than a Jag..

I'd at least put a full size neck on it... new pups... tremolo bridge... haha i WILL have my bass version of a Jazzmaster:

that would be so cool

I finally got my hands on a sunburst fender jag and I could imagine modding if i don't have to, so this would be a nice secondary bass to make fretless, so i'd have my pair of jags!

then just a jazzmaster, a jaguar baritone HH and my collection will be complete!

So Fender Great Britain isn't a reliable source?

Hello,

Thanks for your interest in the New Squire Jaguar Bass.

It seems that some pre-release information has been leaked via the USA.

Unfortunately we are unable to provided any release details as yet, these should be officially released within the next 3 weeks (including full specs and rrps).

We currently believe the basses should be available to order from the end June with them arriving instores towards the end of July/Early August.

Full details will be issued on the Squire website as well as details sent to you local Squire dealer.
