Squier VM Neck

Anyone know if Squier ever did a VM Precision with a Jazz width (at the nut} neck?

Nope sure didn't, I have a VM and I'm buying a mighty mite jazz neck to put on it. So it will be what you basically described.

the stock VM neck on mine is completely crap! every fret is lefting in the middle of the frets. and no matter what I do they will not sit flush with the fretboard. love the body pickups and sound of the bass tuners hold tune good.

The discontinued Squier Precision Special, is a Squier Standard, which for all intents and purposed seems to have morphed into the Squier VM line ... that was a P body with P/J pups, and the Jazz neck .. they are readily available used, and you can even find some NOS still available from some of the dealers, and on Ebay that never sold ... there are several on here that have them ...

There's also the VM Jag. P/J with a jazz neck. Beautiful inlays also.
