Apples and oranges - these are totally different basses.
Where were these made has (IMO) no relevance; nowadays you can't tell the difference between an Indonesian and a Korean made Ibby. In the past Koreans were better built, but I've seen a couple of those with small flaws as well, so you won't know for sure unless you test them side by side yourself.
