SRF705 Push Pull Pot

Hi all,
I've recently put a new Bartolini MK5CBC (Bridge) in my Ibanez SRF705, and the idea of coil splitting the pickup has come to me as the stock Bartolink MK1's were not four conductor. However, I noticed that when rewiring the pickup (neck bridge volume pots, no switches) that all the pots use PCB's and quick connects. The whole preamp system is Ibanez OEM.
If I wanted to go for a push-pull pot (if anyone has a better idea I'm open, however I don't want to be drilling holes in the front for switches), I'm assuming I'd need to rewire by bypassing the PCB completely?

as long, you will solder the quick connect wires to the new pot, nothing to worry about. likely the pcb will be in way when mounted on a push-pull pot.

that's the way they did it before, I believe, older (?) SRFs had pots with no PCBs, just wires soldered to quick connects.

Pretty sure this is a new thing with them, mine is a LP06, which was the latest run of them. I found a schematic for the older models, and IIRC the quick connect serves to send it to the preamp, but in the LP06 models it’s a quick connect onto the PCB instead of the lugs, and the PCB just has the hot and ground of the pickup wired directly onto it. Seems like it’ll be easy enough to do, there’s just so many damn wires in that cavity :)
