I have an Ibanez SRX 400, that i have some questions on. i want to get a new on board pre-amp because the "PHAT II" eq is not the greatest, was thinking about replacing it with an aguilar obp 2, or something else similar. any suggestions here would be nice. The reason for this is i like the tone this bass has running thru my acoustic rig (b200h, b410, b115), but it's just lacking something, dare i say its too "loud + raw" (for a quick fix i put some Chromes on there to tame the sound) 
, also i would like to know what pick ups if any would be a good replacement, i was thinking of getting an ATK pick-up to have the three way selection option to play around with.
