ss/bs mini as light overdrive or...

Given my current setup and use, would a Southampton Fifth Gear or Wren & Cuff Phat Phuk B add anything that my ssbs mini can’t?

Passive p bass > mini > Rusty box > pickle pie b > Ampeg V-4B

The mini is being used as a light OD (standalone and to push other dirt) and I run my V-4B fairly dirty.

Thanks in advance.

If you really want to fatten things up, I suggest running an OC-2 with the mix on half, a parallel loop blender of some sort, or a low end booster like the Mantic Thug. You also might want to look into HPF or compression, but you do play through a tube amp which has an amount of natural compression

My objectives are basically a) to get that bit of tone mojo/magic when I kick it on (especially for choruses) and for it to be able to add some of that same oomph when driving other dirt. I want to keep my V-4B tone....just with that extra something when called for. If that helps any.
